An intergenerational participatory workshop facilitated by Megan J Riedl.
Let your imaginations loose in this collaborative world-building session, where a simple prompt sparks our collective ideas to bring forth a unique, complex and fantastical new narrative world. Participants then create a character to inhabit the world, and take them on an adventure through a series of creative activities including improvisational role-play, poetry, prose writing, and visual arts. Build skills in improvisational performance, world-building and character development.
Suitable for creative adults and kids aged 12+ with an interest in performing, writing, storytelling, comics, fantasy and role-play gaming.
No prior experience is necessary, and we are a neuro-affirming space with a break-out space and an assistant facilitator to support folks needing a break or extra help. Support workers or parent helpers are welcome to accompany clients or their child - please email Megan
